Lucky 8 Ranch is located 35 minutes from the Steamboat Ski Resort. We raise 400+ American Bison, alpacas, llamas, horses, and chickens. With raising animals comes long hours and hard work. The ranch spans 3,000 acres in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We also lease 1,000+ acres of cropland in the surrounding community. We offer day-trip activities, ATV & snowmobile tours, to give our guests the "Colorado Experience." These tours are exciting and educational. The ranch also hosts special events & weddings looking over a serene landscape with everlasting panoramic views. Running through the ranch is Trout Creek with amazing yet difficult fly fishing opportunities for employees as well as many ponds to relax at on a day off.

Our guests and employees are not just people, we treat everyone that steps on the ranch as if they are part of the family. We have opportunities for year-round, seasonal, full-time, and part-time work. We believe in hard work and those that take pride in everything they do. We also want those that work here to enjoy the vast public spaces that Routt County and the Yampa Valley offer.

We are seeking driven self-starters who have a passion for working in the outdoors in all types of conditions. The safety of our staff and guests are paramount to our beliefs. We strive for tidy workspaces and vehicles. As well as well-maintained vehicles and equipment. Lucky 8 Ranch is a family-owned and operated ranch and we value those that share our home with us and have similarly high standards for integrity and professionalism. Must be 18 years old to apply.
