Meet the Inspiration

Mark & Vera

Mark & Vera both grew up on a farm in Canada.  We can thank them for taking Dwayne on trips back home to visit.  Lucky 8 Ranch is named after these two.  Mark's lucky roulette number is 8, hence the poker chip logo and the 8.

Keith

Gramps worked in a meat plant most of his early life.  He is the one that taught us our knife skills and how to humanly handle our animals.  He was always the one to start the "honkytonkin'". His motto was, "Work hard, play even harder!" It was his great spirit and attitude that taught us how to have fun in any situation.

Meet The Family

It was Dwayne's dream that made Lucky 8 Ranch a reality.  He is the president and owner of Lucky 8 Ranch.  When he isn't driving a tractor you'll find him with his feet up in the knock out chairs.

Happy Wife, Happy Life is what we say at Lucky 8 Ranch. What momma says goes!  Mom loves her horses, when she isn't taking care of the ranch, you'll see her saddling up Angel to go for a ride.

When Amanda isn't out gardening or playing with her son, you'll find her at her skincare spa making people's skin feel fresh and look rejuvenated.

One Love Skin Boutique

Nick is the general manager at Lucky 8 Ranch.  If you have a question or concern, he's your guy.  In the winter months, you'll see him racing Ice Cross Downhill.

EMILY

Apart from spending most childhood summers working on her family's cattle ranch in North Dakota, Emily grew up in the Yampa Valley. While starting out working on private guest ranches, she has worked in many different occupations and is skilled in different trades. Not only is she a die-hard Bison enthusiast and advocate but also the proud surrogate mom to Cinco #0005 and hopes to have her own bison herd one day.
