ATV Bison Adventure (3-Hour)
Experience our ultimate tour at one of the best ATV tour companies in Colorado. Enjoy the thrill of driving your own side-by-side on this family-friendly guided Steamboat Springs, Colorado off-road ATV adventure through Lucky 8 Ranch and American Bison ranch. Sit amongst the bison herd and learn how these animals have stood the test of time. Cruise over 20 miles of trail systems winding around our beautiful ranch. Travel through lush hay pastures, descend into the Trout Creek valley floor, and ascend to breathtaking panoramic views of Routt County & the Northern Rocky Mountains. Learn about the Yampa Valley's history and heritage.
Note: All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Cost:
$345 per machine (includes 1 driver and 1 passenger)
$169 per extra Adult Driver or Passenger
$85 per extra Youth Passenger
($25 Optional Damage Insurance)

What to Bring:
Clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Long pants are preferred. Bring a hoodie or light jacket, just in case it gets chilly.
Water Bottle, Sun Screen, a Hat, Sunglasses, & a Camera
Driver must have a valid Drivers License
The trail will be dusty, if you have allergies, bring your extra medication. Just in Case!

Well-maintained Polaris Rangers & Arctic Cat Prowlers
Water, Light Snacks, Helmet, Goggles

ATV Ranch Adventure (2-Hour)
(Available June - October)
The Lucky 8 Ranch ATV Ranch adventure travels the same amount of trail system as the ATV Bison Adventure without the bison hangout. Pass through the bison herd and cruise over 20 miles of trail systems winding around our beautiful ranch. Traveling over varying terrain to beautiful panoramic views of Routt County.
Note: All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Currently, no Sunset tours are available.

Rules & Requirements
Requirements

All drivers must present a valid driver’s license at check-in (mandatory for all drivers).

Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Must be 5 years old to be a passenger.

Experience is not necessary. Instructions, safety brief, and equipment orientation will be provided before the tour begins

Children as young as 5 years old may ride as a passenger with a responsible adult or with a guide (based on availability). We suggest a minimum age of 7 for the 3-Hour Tour and 5 for the 2-Hour Tour.

Be sure your clothing and personal items will withstand the dirt, the mud, the water, and the bouncing around!

We will not be responsible for personal property.

Closed-toe shoes are required for your safety (we provide mandatory eye protection and helmets)

Pregnant women, anyone with heart, neck, or back problems, or recent joint replacement surgeries are not allowed to participate.

Recommended weight per vehicle not to exceed 500 lbs.

Driver is 100% responsible for vehicular damage.

NO SMOKING at any time throughout the entire tour or on Lucky 8 Ranch property.

Review and understand the operations of the vehicle. Ask Questions!

Wear protective clothing, no sandals or open-toed shoes.

Helmets and eye protection are mandatory while in a vehicle.

Must use seat belt/safety harness at all times while in the vehicle.

Follow the trail and maintain a "safe" distance from the vehicle in front of you.

NO PASSING, NO LAGGING BEHIND, NO SLING SHOTTING, NO DONUTS, NO DRIVING OFF-TRAIL

Slow is always better & safer.

Watch out for bison & wildlife. DO NOT APPROACH or ANTAGONIZE.

If you have vehicle trouble, stop and turn off your engine. DO NOT GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE.

If you get separated from the group. Stop and Wait! DO NOT COME TO LOOK FOR US! We WILL find you.

This is a guided tour. This is not a thrill ride.

This tour is considered a high adventure tour. Unless these rules is followed there is a possibility of personal injury or flipping a vehicle.

Be conscientious of others on the tour, as everyone has a different driving ability.

Go slow, be safe, and watch out for each other.

Be respectful of Lucky 8 Ranch property. This is our home!
For the safety of everyone on the tour, failure to follow these rules will result in having your driving privileges removed immediately!
